Habitat for Humanity
Starkville Habitat for Humanity provides an opportunity for low-income families to purchase a home. Qualified families must complete 300 hours of work on their own home and are given a no-interest loan to purchase the Habitat home. Habitat for Humanity is a Christian ministry devoted to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing decent housing for qualified families.

Projects: Starkville Habitat constructs 2 houses per year.
Volunteer opportunities: Volunteers can spend their time helping in the construction of houses, providing meals for volunteers, serving on a committee, or assisting with the Habitat office (answering phones, completing documents, etc.). Donations are always accepted.
Annual Events: An annual golf tournament is hosted by Phillips Financial to benefit Habitat for Humanity.
